This is me and my Mami on the beach in Costa Rica. I treasure this photo like gold. Finding it was like looking for a needle in a hay stack. It's the ONLY photo I have of me as a little baby. I'm not sure what happened to the rest. Maybe being the fourth girl to come along, the photos began to diminish. Maybe there were photos of plenty and they were just simply lost in the shuffle of moving to another country. If I were to ever lose this photo, I would be completely heart broken. Now that I'm a mommy, I wanna make sure that there's plenty of photos of my children. So far, I'm doing pretty well snapping photos of my little guy. Let's just wait and see how it goes if ever I were to have a fourth. (Did I just say a fourth? What am I thinking!)

It's time to pull out your scanner and your pre-digital photos and start reminising of times gone by. Then head on over to Alicia's blog, More Than Words, to share them with the world.

Hi Miti! You were such a cute baby!!
I can totally understand you holding onto this picture!
I think it is very common though to have less pictures of the other children!! I know that sounds bad, but so true. I think because you are busier and don't have time to snap photos as much.
What a darling picture! I understand about your attachment to it. I have very few pictures of my child hood...they were there once...but in my parents divorce they were scattered and lost along with the china and furniture.
I think that is why I am so particular of making sure we have lots of our kids.
You look just like this little girl in my neighborhood. Hang on tight to this one. It is so precious.
Wanna know what's great? Now it's safely embedded here in blogland! So even if you did lose the picture, you'll have access to it here online! I'd also upload it to a site like "Shutterfly" or something so you have double-back-up. =0)
That is a great photo! And I took TONS of pictures of all my kiddos. I just love pics!!!
Just make yourself do it with the 3rd and 4th as well!
What a great pic! Love the way your mami is looking at you!
Wow! what a treasure that´s for sure! So glad to have come by to see this precious memory.
Very cute little cheeks you had! ;)
I will have to remember to take more pictures of my boys so they have them as their memories too.
I am obsessed with pictures and have a ton from when I was small. I don't have that many of my mom and she passed away 8 years ago so I cherish each one. I should scan all of my old pics to an external hard drive because if my house ever caught fire I might perish trying to drag the giant box out!
Hey Miti! This is such a beautiful photo! I treasure all of my photos, they are my prized possessions! I have a framed picture of my mother when she was 20 leaning out of her first car... I treasure that photo like you wouldn't believe!
oh my word, I can see a resemblance between you and your son!
You are such a cutie patootie! I have very few pictures of me as a baby. Three, I think.
I was the youngest and we didn't have alot of money.
Miti,
That picture is precious. I know what you mean about savoring pictures from our past. I cherish all the pictures of me and my parents. They are so special. So glad I am taking tons of pictures of my children so the memories will forever be at their disposal.
Thanks for all your sweet comments all the time.
Can't wait to meet you!
Mimi
That is SUCH a sweet photo!
That picture truly deserves the word..."priceless!" I am so glad you have that one...I have very few just a handful and I hold dear to those too.
You were so adorable.
its great that you were able to find your only picture.. its a real treasure!
i think you have a great blog by the way! :D
Great picture! I totally understand, my mom only has a handful of baby pix of me and none for my brothers. She somehow lost 2 or 3 photo albums in the many moves between when I was born and 3 when she married my stepdad. I wish she would let me have some but she hangs onto them as if they were gold as well.

You were a cute baby!! There are only a handfull of pics of me as well, due to a fire, and my grandmother has almost all of those. I was not so good at taking pictures of my first two, and I am actually ashamed when I look back at pics of them and then at pics of the younger ones-there are many more of my younger kids. Sad.

That picture looks JUST like you! I would have known had you not said anything. Too precious and very sad that you don't have more. The digital camera has made it so easy to take pictures of the kids, hasn't it?
Big hugs my friend.
Kim
That is the sweetest picture!
What a special picture. I'm glad you found it.
What a sweet picture. I can totally understand why you'd be heartbroken to lose it. I would be really sad if there were none of me growing up.
(This is my first time visiting. Cute blog! =) )
Oh Wow Miti, What a precious picture!
That's a great photo, all the greater because it's the only one. I found that we took less pictures of child 2, and even less of child 3. We didn't get to 4, but I probably would have been so busy and disorganized, I wouldn't have found the camera for years.
I made it home safely, Miti! Not to worry. Your Monday Correspondent is home and made it safely through the jungles of Africa!!!
