Field of Sunshine

Scenic Sunday's here again. Today, I'm taking you to a very special place that's very dear to my heart. The scene comes from the beautiful land of Costa Rica. I'm proud to say this was were I was born. In 28 years, I haven't had the chance to return, but I hope to visit very soon. My sister and brother-in-law were fortunate enough to visit my family a few years ago. While on their way to visit the Irazu Volcano, they found this beautiful field covered with yellow flowers. Being the spontaneous people that they are, they asked my Uncle if he would stop the car so they could snap this photo. It's as if they had stepped into a field of sunshine.

BTW....I will be posting my photos on Sundays, but you're welcomed to join in any day.

PiecesofMe

Sometimes we are so busy with everyday life that we forget to appreciate the beauty that God has placed before us. Scenic Sundays are about stopping and smelling the roses. And while you're smelling those roses, take a picture so that others can share in your appreciation for the beauty of His creation. So pretty please come join us on Scenic Sundays. Maybe we'll see things in a different light.

That photo is amazing! I love how bright it is there! So colorful!!! I would have wanted to stop the car too...and I'm glad they did! There have been MANY times that I saw a sight and wish I'd stopped only to regret it later! Beautiful!!!

Those might be Canola fields! I saw some in France near Normandy...I couldn't understand our driver, but then I said "Canola? Like the oil?" Yep...LOL! So pretty!!!

Great photo...I could so use a field of sunshine right now! I'd love to play along with your carnival. Most of my scenic photos were taken pre-kids and that was before I had a digital camera. So I'll have to see what I can do...

Thanks for stopping by my site, following and grabbing my button. I'm feeling some bloggy love!

How beautiful!!!

I will have to do this next week! I know I said I would this week, but I got so caught up w/ our new puppy..LOL!

Anywho..your labor story sounded kind of like mine too! My water was leaking and I didn't know it was amniotic fluid till I was induced! That is why he needed the antibiotics (for any infection he might have received). Oh..and he is tall! In fact, he's always looked older than what he is!!!
